While we strive to keep our calculators updated with the latest Australian rates, tax brackets, and formulas (such as ATO schedules), we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy at all times. The outputs are simulated estimates. mycalculator.com.au is not liable for any discrepancies between our estimates and the actual figures provided by banks, the ATO, or other institutions.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, mycalculator.com.au and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

Our "Expert Help" service connects you with third-party licensed professionals. We do not endorse or guarantee the services provided by these third parties. Any relationship or agreement entered into with these professionals is strictly between you and the provider.
5. Statutory Fuel Price Data & Prohibition of Further Publication
Fuel pricing feeds displayed on mycalculator.com.au are provided free of charge to retail consumers for personal journey planning and cost estimation pursuant to statutory state schemes:
- New South Wales & ACT: Fuel price information is sourced in real-time from NSW FuelCheck pursuant to the Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW) and joint ACT pricing agreements. Managed by the NSW Department of Customer Service / NSW Fair Trading. Consumers may verify prices or report discrepancies via NSW FuelCheck.
- Western Australia: Real-time fuel data is provided via the official WA FuelWatch service administered by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) pursuant to the Petroleum Products Pricing Act 1983 (WA). Prices are legally locked for 24-hour cycles from 6:00 AM daily. Verify directly at FuelWatch WA.
- South Australia: Based on or contains data provided by the State of South Australia (Office of Consumer and Business Services 2021-2026) pursuant to the Fair Trading (Fuel Pricing Information) Regulations 2021 (SA). Copyright of the State of South Australia. Retail consumers may raise price discrepancies directly with CBS SA via Consumer and Business Services or by email to FuelPricingScheme@sa.gov.au.
- Queensland: Based on or contains data provided by the State of Queensland (Department of Energy and Climate) 2026 pursuant to the Fair Trading (Fuel Price Reporting) Regulation 2018 (QLD). In consideration of the State permitting use of this data you acknowledge and agree that the State gives no warranty in relation to the data (including accuracy, reliability, completeness, currency or suitability) and accepts no liability (including without limitation, liability in negligence) for any loss, damage or costs (including consequential damage) relating to any use of the data. Data must not be used for direct marketing or be used in breach of privacy laws.
- Northern Territory: Sourced pursuant to the Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading (Fuel Prices) Regulations 2017 (NT) via MyFuel NT / Northern Territory Consumer Affairs. Retail price changes are reported under statutory disclosure mandates.
- Victoria & Tasmania: Regional baseline rates are modeled in accordance with Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) price cycle surveys and terminal gate price transparency standards under Australian Consumer Law.
Prohibition of Further Publication: In accordance with statutory publisher licence terms, users and visitors are strictly prohibited from copying, redistributing, re-publishing, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting fuel price data or aggregates obtained from this service. Automated harvesting, scraping, or extraction of fuel feeds is expressly prohibited.
